Ricardo founded Fincapital Investments, the acquisition, underwriting and asset management platform that Grey Oaks is the investor-facing expression of. The work started where most sponsors never operate: sourcing, underwriting, financing and then actually running the assets.

Grey Oaks exists because that operating experience produced a view about what limited partners are not told. The fee schedule, the reporting calendar and the sequence a deal follows when it underperforms are published here rather than held behind a login.
